“Say that I am the shooter.” He says when I start to write this. He is African American. They are whispering on the radio and it sounds like one of them is sobbing. “All I ever wanted was a haircut.” One is saying now. I am guessing that has something to do with something that happened last week to one of them. There is heavy breathing now, panting really. Someone just informed me that the situation isn’t good. I ask if it’s Joe P and I am not really sure what his response is. The other males cold look through me made him back away. They strangle him, beat him, stab him, cut him. They are hitting someone. They are beating someone else up now. “Tell my dad I’m done, tell my dad I’m done.” Lexie is saying.
