They are lying to her big time. They are the ones talking crap about her. She gets mad and goes to say something but Amanda M cuts her off and fills in “I can hear your son screaming at the top of his lungs in my sleep.” I’m not sure why she wanted her to say that or what she is so worried about Jamie saying but it’s still important.
