Sensation by definition is detecting an enivronmental stimuli through basic snesory experience.

Perception by definition is integrating, organizing and interpreting the sensory information in a way that is meaningful. It is how we “make sense” of sensory information.

Thresholds for sensory receptors to “sense” stimuli vary from person to person.

All of this is relevant to my current situation as well as in general to all people. I think there are several reasons why I am able to hear these people when no one else around me can.
